Tibet - Nam-tso and Damxung

These photographs were all taken between Damxung and Nam-tso. Nam-tso lake, the highest salt water lake in the world, is 195km North of Lhasa at an altitude of 4718m and surrounded by mountains with peaks in excess of 7000m. Even though Nam-tso is officially a salt water lake the water, albeit extremely cold, is very drinkable.
